SHORT SUMMARY
Inspired by the growing use of virtual reality (VR) in the healthcare industry, I wanted to create an experience intended to be a healthy distraction for:
• Hospitalized Patients
• Assisted Living, Long-term Care, & Nursing Homes
• Hospice
• Quarantining
• House-bound
• Generally, those who don’t get the opportunity to see exhibits in person.
My main objective was to turn the possibility of a bad experience, into a more welcoming one.


CONCEPT ART
This video is the previz of the intended environment. I was working with Unreal's VR first person shooter template and a free source winter environment to layout my experience. In this stage I studied the collision of assets, player start mechanics, weather effects, boundaries, aesthetics, and floatation of objects. The next steps were to make the connection between the VR headgear and create the art installation aspect.
