ABOUT ME

    Film is a big factor that's motivated my choices and helped me determine where I want to be, and what I want to be doing. Everything from the lifelike animations to well-designed movie posters displayed outside theaters captivates me in one way or another. My name is Chloe Pertuit and I’m a hardworking student at the University of Texas at Austin. Currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Arts and Entertainment technologies, I’m actively pursuing a creative career focused on animation and special effects in the film industry.  

    I’m a versatile artist with freelance experience that has helped me develop the capabilities to adapt to many different styles. I’m constantly working to strengthen these abilities so I can be as well rounded as possible and capable of adjusting from project to project. My range can be very expansive depending on my interests at a given time and I like expanding my knowledge in different genres as not to get too complacent. I also enjoy working with traditional and digital media and exploring new software’s for both 2D and 3D projects such as Maya, Photoshop, Blender, and Unreal. My freelance work has also helped me understand how to efficiently work with and manage customer-client relations. 

     Growing up, I knew I would never be satisfied with a career that didn’t involve art and there has never been a subject that I’ve felt more passionate towards. With my experience with art and business, and my rapidly growing knowledge of the industry, I hope to cultivate my craft alongside your company and hone in on my abilities as a creator.
